The true meaning of wine: “A companion”
Being one of the oldest drinks on Earth, wine has come to have many meanings. It has gone from being the drink of the gods, to the blood of Christ, to the perfect companion, but what is the true meaning of wine?
Ancient cultures considered life to be a sacred fruit and the brew produced by the making of wine was considered to be the drink of the gods. Today, wine has a different meaning.
Today, wine is a symbol of connection and companionship that must be present during many actions and activities to make moments and experiences perfect. While it is a symbol of connection and companionship, wine always has a greater importance that it may seem like at first.
Wine is always accompanied by the “and” concept, giving much importance to other words. Some examples of the word “and” accompanying wine are: “Wine and cheese”, “Meat and wine”, “Wine and friends”. There are many cases where wine helps to make moments special and offers a distinct touch, since the words “Cheese”, “Meat” and “Friends” lack the same meaning when they are without “Wine”. Wine is the perfect companion: a must-have at every scene, the perfect note of a composition. Nor in physical presence, nor in words must wine be absent.
Wine has a powerful significance – one that should never be missing. It is for this reason that wine always accompanies ceremonies, events and those special moments we have each day.
